Around 30GW of clean energy has been added to the grid and is set to continue - an important step towards de-carbonising our energy system and reaching net zero emissions by 2050. Seizing the opportunities of clean energy not only helps to protect our planet, but will also back businesses and boost jobs across the UK. Boris Johnson has made infrastructure a key pillar of the UK’s strategy to make a success of Brexit in a post covid world.

Strong Energy Backers
Renewable Energy Properties has a robust and proven business model. We establish our exit routes at the start not the end giving investors peace of mind. We secure long term corporate power purchase agreements for our energy from strong Energy Suppliers. We leverage this security towards selective finance institutions to buyout the asset either on a Build Own Transfer (BOT) or Build Own Operate Transfer (BOOT) model.
Each project is different but we work with whichever model that brings the best return to all stakeholders. The landowner, the equipment owner, the energy supplier and the finance institutions all win.

How We Work
The key is a reliable well trodden process that works. Were not recreating the wheel were making it better
Step One - Location
Find site location and secure land with the 12 month option agreement from the seller. The land is acquired and already has detailed planning and Heads of Terms (HOT’s) are in situ, contracts are then drawn up ready to exchange and complete.
Step Two - Construction
Once the land is acquired with the detailed planning and HOT’s signed and valuation agent has confirmed a Gross Development Valuation for the project (GDV) financing will be secured. During Build surveyor valuations will be carried out on a quarterly basis to ensure investor capital is realised.
Step Three - Operation
We sell the site to a large institutional fund and or an energy provider (supplier). Renewable Energy Properties returns initial investor capital plus interest once the project is developed while retaining an equity stake to help secure funding for further project developments.

Meet The Team
Tallat is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, with a 25year career in Power Generation with GEC, ABB and Alstom based in Switzerland, Germany and now the UK. He set up and grew 2 global sales divisions to €100M turnover. Executive management position on Alstom’s Service division and now Board Directorships on 2 Energy companies. Successfully secured over £1m funding with Jeff Draper growing that company to a 17M£ valuation.
Jeff Graduated in Maths and Physics, Chartered Accountant, qualifying with Arthur Andersen and as an accountancy partner. Initiated and operated an award-winning franchise business 1997-2005, with 80 branches nation-wide. Built up commercial property portfolio. Proven track record in business development. Founding director of Storelectric Ltd and successfully secured over £1m funding with Tallat Azad growing that company to a 17M£ valuation.
Peter heads up the renewable energy team and is a Power Engineer whose primary focus is to provide specialist advice and guidance to the Renewable Power Transmission and Distribution market, particularly in respect of Grid Connections and Contestable Works. Peter is a professional engineer who delivers World Class, project execution against a complex commercial challenge, based around the management of people, projects, orders, sales and delivered margin, whilst offering excellence in customer satisfaction.
He has successfully delivered a number of traditional and renewable energy projects working in both client and contractor roles.
Richard has continually delivered projects on time and budget and continues to deliver in an ever changing market.

Energy Business Parks
We plan to build a mix of Solar and Gas Engines on distressed land having sufficient space to potentially put WtE plants and connect to neighbouring storage assets. In this way, our properties can evolve into "Renewable Energy Business Parks" where the businesses on the sites can operate independently or symbiotically, as appropriate, and they can all leverage each other's needs and resources to reduce each others infrastructure and interconnection costs and further improve returns. The beauty of this approach is that as each asset class is self financing it has the option and the potential for rapid expansion and substantial growth.
